Adult or Children’s Support Worker

Jark are delighted to be recruiting for experienced adult/children’s support workers on behalf of our clients in the Belfast, County Down and Portadown areas.

These roles vary and can include:

  • Mental Health
  • Learning disability
  • Looked after children

The purpose of this role is to meet the physical, psychological, emotional and social needs of adults, children and/or young people with disabilities and challenging behavior through delivering support and care and assisting them with their daily lives.
Adhoc shifts available and will work round your availability. Block bookings are also available and may include unsociable hours including evenings and weekends.

Healthcare Assistant

Jark Healthcare an established quality healthcare provider is now recruiting in your area. We have a range of roles available including EMI, Dementia care, Palliative care and General Elderly posts will be in a Care Home setting. We also have Healthcare Assistant roles available within the NHS. Applicants who apply to the NHS must be vaccinated against Hepatitis B.

All candidates must have 6 months previous paid experience as a Care Assistant with an Access NI disclosure and NISCC Registration completed before commencing placement.

Job Offers:

  • The post holder is responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of these programmes of care.
  • The post holder is expected to carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervision.
  • Effective team working; maintaining staff relationships and moral.
  • Be aware of communication between patients, staff and relatives, reporting issues to the line manager.
  • Ensuring all documentation is legible, accurate and is written in black ink and clearly signed, timed and dated in accordance with the NMC.
  • Maintain own registration with the NMC.
  • Responsible for your professional and personal development in accordance with NMC requirements with the scope of Professional practice.

Essential Criteria:

  • Be a level 1 Registered Nurse on the live NMC Register.
  • A full current driving license and access to a car is essential.
  • Sound Knowledge of current nursing practice.
  • Clinical Knowledge.
  • Willing to complete an Enhanced Access NI certificate

Desired criteria:

  • 6 months post registration experience
